Video Post: Thriller
This was one of my favorite songs when I was younger. I originally saw the music video for it on MTV back in the 90’s when the station was good and played music most the day instead of reality TV drama shows about who ends up liking who. I mean, it is called MUSIC TV. The choreography was interesting and Michael Jackson’s got the moves. I also enjoyed the video and the zombies, they are neat. What zombie’s can dance? They can. I like the song a lot too it has a catchy beat. I’m disappointed that I could not put the actual music video in this post and that I had to put a live concert version from 1987. The original video is not allowed to be embedded unfortunately but it is much better than a concert version because it has the graphics and scenery the song needs to really portray it. My favorite part of this video though is when the five guys are dancing in the dark and their jackets have flashing glowing lights. I never got to see Michael Jackson in concert but I would have loved to see this song performed live. This album had over 104 million sales and is the best-selling album of all time. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, NARM, in 2007 ranked Thriller as number 3 on their “Definitive 200” albums list. This song is a classic. Almost everybody knows of it or has heard it at least once in their lifetime. It is such a memorable song that it is hard to forget the beat even if you haven’t heard it for a long time.

I love the song Thriller by Michael Jackson too! I was a little disappointed that you couldn't put the real music video on here too. Michael Jackson is a musical genius but with a interesting side to him. Even though his personal may not be that clean his musical career will always be remembered. Especially his dance moves. This music video really displays his dance moves. Even in the movie 13 Going on 30 they re-enact these dance moves. They are classic and just make you want to dance. Not only are the dance moves fun in this video but the music just in general makes you want to get up and dance.
